Throw Down 2 Week Workshop

Do you want to make cool holiday items for your home
as handmade gifts for friends and family? If your answer
is yes then you will have a blast in this holiday
themed pottery class at Hollister Artisans Mercantile
Each class you will be making a variety of items or
focusing and building on complex item. i.e.: (leaves,
snowmen, gnomes, and ornaments, etc.)

Class 1:  Learn studio expectations and basics of
3 styles of hand building.
Class 2:  Hand-build a guided project.
Class 3:  Explore by creating your own project.
Class 4:  The last step, glaze your work for the
final firing.

Time: Thursday 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Duration: 4 Weeks
Skill Level: All levels, no experience required (minimum
age for students is 12+ years.  
Instructor: Darlene Boyd

building, clay, glazing, and firing.
